Elena began taking ballet classes at her local YMCA when she was just five years old. She furthered her dance training at the Anneliese Von Oettingen School of Ballet under instructor Laura Hughes. At the age of nine, Elena began attending the School for Creative and Performing Arts where she studied under Daryl Bjoza, Patricia Rozow, Meredith Benson and Cynthia Riesterer. Upon graduating from SCPA, Elena became a trainee with Ballet Magnificat! where she spent the next three years advancing in ballet and growing in the Lord. While with Ballet Magnificat!, Elena had the privilege of sharing the gospel of Jesus in Honduras, Central America, and was a part of the first group of trainees to tour internationally. In her third year as a trainee, Elena was asked to pioneer a new branch of their ministry called Ballet Magnificat! International Outreach in which she spent a year teaching ballet and sharing the Good News in Honduras. Elena joined Paradosi in 2012 as an apprentice and in the Spring of 2013 was promoted to a full company member. Elena is thrilled to be a part of this ministry where she can continue to use the gift of dance in worship and as a way of sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
