Alyssa began dancing at the age of 3, training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. She performed on multiple nationally high scoring competition teams and performance groups. At 16, she began to feel God’s call on her life to use dance for His glory and ministry. She trained at Modern Messages Dance in Hartland, MI and Fountain Dance Ministry (Bright City Ballet) in Brighton, MI, performing with their ministry companies. In 2009, Alyssa moved to Syracuse, NY to train under Ashley Rollinson at Light of the World Ballet’s trainee program. During this time she had the opportunity to dance with the company and join them on their trip to the Philippines. God used her time there to confirm the desire to reach people and the culture around her through dancing. She moved to the Seattle area in 2011 to join Paradosi and is excited about continuing in her second year here. Hebrews 12:1-2 has been a guiding verse in her life. She seeks to look to The Lord in every area of her life and having that vital relationship with Him being the most important thing. Laying all else aside for the Joy of Christ! Alyssa also serves in Paradosi with costuming.
